The shopping cart will only take physical address for shipments. NO PO Box will be accepted in the SHIPPING section. Please enter the PO Box in the BILLING (Address your credit card is delivered) section or Comments section on checkout. You can get away with entering a PO Box by entering as POBOX NOTE: We need a mailing address only if you want to get item(s) shipped USPS or if that is your Billing Addres for credit card processing. Please use the shipping drop down box it to use USPS. USPS does not include insurance.

Why does my order say Awaiting payment? All orders are processed manually no matter how you pay. In other words we take your credit card information, address, zip code and enter it into a machine that verifies the card. Your card is not charged until we go to process your order.

Why is shipping so high on USPS or UPS based on the weight of the products? Well, the short answer is we have to cover our cost to ship 1 item via USPS and that same weight is then used over and over when you buy several of those items. The exception is items with different price points such as when you buy 4 or more 1 ounce liquid color dyes. We are able to change those weights. ie - You order 1 ounce of fragrance. We have the weight of any and all 1 ounce fragrances set at the cost of shipping that item 1st class mail to cover actual shipping cost. Now add 15 pieces of 1 ounce fragrance and the USPS Priority rate weight is in the 3.5# range because we had to use that weight. Our software is not dynamic enough to reduce a weight on multiple items. We attempt to review shipping costs and adjust shipping to actual cost but are not always sucessful. Simply put a Comment in the box at checkout and or email us about the situation and we will gladly adjust shipping for you.

What happened to USPS 1st class shipping rates? ?1st Class is only available for packages weighing under 14 ounces. Once that weight is met in the shopping cart the USPS software removes the 1st class shipping option and defaults to USPS Priority Mail. You are also given the UPS rate to compare and decide. NOTE: USPS 1st class and Priority Mail do not carry insurance for loss or delivery guarantee.

Why does my order say 'Pending'? We may have a problem with your order. If a problem arrises we will try to either contact you by phone or email or both to correct the problem. Typically orders switched to 'Pending' have credit card issues or if shipping USPS the address is not verifiable in the USPS label system. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE A CREDIT CARD AND NOT USE THE CORRECT MAILING ADDRESS. IT WILL BE REJECTED. Any attempted fraud will be reported to local law enforcement as a crime. WE PROSECUTE.

Credit card declined? NOTE: Re-processing of credit cards carries a $5 charge. It is the customers responsibility to make sure the credit card funding is available, the numbers are entered correctly and the expiration date is correct. S4C needs the billing address and zip code in order for the approval to happen.

Are you trying to add items to your shopping cart?

Select 'Our Products' from the Home page of our site. https://www.supplies4candles.com/pilot.asp?pg=products. When the window opens select category of interest and another screen comes up showing you all the products available in that category.

Click on any of the categories and a chart or items will appear. The chart has columns that correspond to pricing for a particular amount and rows showing the product. Just go to the row you want (product) and the column (amount) you want to order and enter the quantity you want, repeat above steps until you have selected all the product you want from each product and then click on 'Buy Now' and all those items and amounts entered will be added to your shopping cart.

NOTE: If you enter 1 you will get 1 of the items selected, if you enter 2 you will get 2 etc.

MAKE SURE TO CLICK Buy to get items in the cart. This can be near the product or at the bottom of the page. You can find this by the down error on your keyboard until the page stops.

- for items that do not have boxes to enter quantity desired: Click 'Our Products' and select a category then click item of interest. You will see a box that says "Please choose your options, then click "Buy Now" to buy this product:" underneath of it is the drop down box with a down arrow. Click this and select the amount you want and highlight that item. To see the price of that size before you buy click on Preview and it will give you the cost. To buy item hit 'Buy Now' and the item will be added to your cart. You do not have to 'Preview' the item to 'Buy Now' just make sure the correct category / price is selected before clicking on 'Buy Now'

Your shopping cart already has items in it?

Our system remembers items added to your cart by looking at your computer ID. You can delete these items using the Empty feature or simply add more into the cart and finalize order. If you are not logged in and place an order then you login and have items already in your cart the system will default to your previous items added but not ordered.

Additional tips:

- to continue ordering after an item has been added to the cart go to 'Our Products' again and follow above steps for your product of interest.

- to go to checkout when you are done ordering click on 'Go To Checkout' after you have entered an item in the cart!!! OR look in upper right corner of home page and click on the shopping cart.

USPS Priority Service is taking longer than 2 to 3 business days. Why? We may take an additional 2 days to ship USPS mail. S4C does not have regular pickup of USPS packages like we do with UPS and this delays the orders from shipping via USPS.USPS orders do not carry insurance and are not covered for loss or damage for any reason. USPS also does not guarantee delivery in 2 to 3 days.

Why was my request for USPS switched to UPS service? S4C always looks at the fastest way to deliver a package to the customer. USPS orders require an additional 2 days for processing in order to get the package to the post office. In addition USPS does NOT carry insurance and at S4C discretion an order that is not replaceable if lost is shipped UPS insured. Orders over 3 pounds also generally are converted to UPS. USPS orders do not carry insurance and are not covered for loss or damage for any reason. USPS also does not guarantee delivery in 2 to 3 days.
